	Statement of purpose: BNMT aims to assist the people of Nepal to improve their health. We do this by working in partnership with the Ministry of Health, international and local NGOs, local committees and communities to establish and maintain sustainable basic health services through:
1.	training and capacity building,
2.	people's empowerment,
3.	advocacy,
4.	institutional development and strengthening.
